no court hearing this week

Boo. We heard from a friend that the judge is on leave this week so our case will not be heard.  Maybe next week but since Diwali is Sunday, that may not be likely. Our agency has emailed the orphanage to get an update...

So ...
.....we wait some more to find out when we will be awarded guardianship of our little guy and we  pray for peace through this agonizing wait, pray for mercy from the committee that will decide our son's fate, pray for quick decisions and turnarounds regarding our case and others that are also waiting along with us, pray our son is happy, fed, loved, and cared for until we get there, pray that God will continue to prepare both his heart and ours for the time when our worlds will collide.

Thank you for praying with us. <3

  1. Grrrrrrrr!!! Praying that the hearing happens RAPIDO> Seriously. It's like they know you're so close to the end so they LOOK for ways to drag it out. At least that's how I felt with Munni. I'm praying for you chica bonita!!!

  2. I am so sorry about this frustration--I was so hoping for amazing news. I received your shirt yesterday (it's beautiful!) and am wearing it while praying for you today. So glad I have a tangible thing to remind me to pray for you and your sweet little boy often.

    1. Thank you, Natalie. Our new court hearing set for Nov 5. I'm thankful it's soon - and praying for good news in the next few weeks. Glad to hear you got your shirt. :) Makes me smile knowing others are wearing them. Yay! :)

    2. Good--November 5th is so close! Praying it happens for sure on that date. Last night when our pastor was praying for us, he prayed for the quickest, most organized time india has ever known, he meant in total seriousness but everyone laughed because we all know how frustrating it can be dealing with these issues! And yes, it was awesome seeing everyone wearing our shirts last night. And it's an awesome feeling wearing someone else's adoption shirt because you feel even more a part of their journey. Thanks for making the shirts and giving us far away an opportunity to have one!

    3. That is funny! It doesn't hurt to pray. :) So glad to hear your church fundraiser was so successful. That's awesome!
